DOMTemplate Bug Release
The DOMLib project files were re-released today due to a couple of bugs found that made the lib's incompatible with PHP5.1.6.
Please re-download these files if you are using PHP 5.1.6
Site Downloads Section Opened
This site has undergone a slight improvement as intrest increases over the DOMTemplate:: engine. We have added a new download area to allow for posting of other projects that use the DOMTemplate library. With this addition we have also released the new DkWiki project.
The DkWiki project was created out of the need to have a HTML based Wiki. This means no need to learn any WIKI markup. Check it out on our downloads area.
We also have a few other project we hope to bring you in the new year. We are working on a new bit-torrent site, that will manage torrent users and seeders. We also hope to bring you a search bot in the form of a REST XML web-service.
Have a great Holiday and New Year!
New PHP5 DOMTemplate Engine Released!
The PHP DOM Template system is a fast PHP template engine that is aimed at maximising development between designers and developers. It attempts to put a clean divider between the two teams.
We have had this template system working in a Dreamweaver environment which is ideal for the designers. You can use Dreamweavers native template system to further enhance this template system.
Over time we will add more examples of how to build projects with the PHP DOM Template Libraries and integrate a project with Dreamweaver. Also examples of how easy it is to integrate javascript into pages and create objects that render javascript components directly to a page.
The library has been successfully in use in a number of corporate projects and has taken around 4 years to mature into what we consider worthy to publish to the open-source community.
The PHP Dom Template Library is part of our internal PHP Development Kit that we will be releasing in the near future.
We have put a number of examples to get you started. If more interest is generated then we will build up the site and add more tutorials/examples and move up to adding a wiki and forum. To give us feedback so we can see if people are using this site, why not submit an answer to our poll ;-p
