DkWIKI - 1.3 Released
Today we have release version 1.3 of the DkWiki project. As this project is starting to become a bit more poular with the online public, we decided to do a few touchups that the wiki was desperatly needing.
The default template of the DkWiki has had a complete overhaul an makes the new look DkWiki a lot more presentable. If you want a template style of your own check out the html/css/skins folder and create one of your own. We would request that people submit their templates to us if you want to share them to the DkWiki public and we will create a section on the site to showcase your works.
The default template was taken from an open source design by http://www.studio7designs.com/, Thanks for the great template Aran!
Whats in the new release? We here is some of the updates done:
- Updated login to stay on page you logged in on.
- Added new default template skin
- Added css skin directory
- Updated misc admin manager information to display correct values
- Added version table
- Added new install/upgrade script
- Updated TinyMCE filemanager plugin
- Added page RSS feed to allow users to monitor page updates.
- Optimised SQL tables
- Added publisher and contributor information to pages
- Updated page layout to include published user avatar image
There is a lot of room left to move with this DkWiki, So keep the requests and bug reports coming in and we will do our best to get them in the next release.
